Accommodations


The following is a list of hotels commonly used by visitors to the University. The first are within walking distance, basically on campus, whereas the others are in Downtown Minneapolis. There are plenty of buses that go from the Downtown to campus, and vise versa. Otherwise taxis are another option. See the Directions page for more information.

Hotels on Campus

5-15 min walk, sorted by distance

  • Radisson University Hotel external - $114/night. Closest hotel to conference; on campus (Pink icon below). We have a deal with the Radisson for reduced rates, use the promo-code SSTD11. Guests can call 800-333-3333 or 612-379-8888 and ask for the SSTD 2011 group in order to be placed under the block. For online reservation, follow these steps:
    1. Go to Radisson University Hotel external
    2. Under "Check Rates & Availability", click on "More Search Options"
    3. Enter Dates of Stay
    4. Under "Promotion Code", enter SSTD11
    5. Complete reservation
  • Days Inn Hotel external - $85/night. East end of campus (Blue icon below). Call 612-623-9303 for the reduced rate, mention you are attending SSTD 2011.
  • Holiday Inn Hotel Minneapolis external - $110/night. West end of campus, slightly farther walk (Yellow icon below).
